PAPS introduces #DuetKeynote, launches RSP Designation

As the country’s original and only globally recognized organization for speaking professionals, the Philippine Association of Professional Speakers (PAPS) is set to write another history during their ExpertCon: The 1st Philippine #DUETKEYNOTE Presentation Summit in Crowne Plaza Hotel, March 15.

The event features 30 speaking professionals from different areas of expertise, including All-Presidents Panel composed of Jocelyn Pick, President of Institute of Management Consultants of the Philippines (IMPHIL), Gerry Plana, FPM, President of People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), Delby Bragais, AICI CIM Founding President of the Association of Image Consultants International Philippine Chapter, Nancy Gotidoc, President of Philippine Society for Training and Development (PSTD), Butz Bartolome, Co-founder, Association of Filipino Franchisers, Inc., Jesse Rebustillo, FPM, Past President of PMAP & PSTD and Former AVP of Inquirer, and Lloyd Luna, Founder & President of Philippine Association of Professional Speakers and Board Member, Global Speakers Federation.

Another highlight the presentation summit is the launch of Registered Speaking Professionals (RSP) Designation. RSP, the highest earned designation in the Philippines, is half-way the Certified Speaking Professionals (CSP) requirements. RSP is also a national measure of platform competency that is acceptable globally. And PAPS is the only organization to confer this award being the only association that is recognized by the Global Speakers Federation.

#DuetKeynote is a new way of presenting. There are two speakers presenting on the same topic alternately on the same stage. Both are given 5 minutes to open their topic together. Then, each is given 10 minutes to discuss (the one presenting has the stage, the other is given a chair as he/she awaits his/her turn). They are given 5 minutes to conclude their topic (together).

The duet keynote presentation aims to introduce an innovation in professional presenting by exploring dual line of thoughts, which are either complementary or opposing, in a 30-minute speech.

PAPS has always been the benchmark in professional speaking and training in the country. This is a unique experience you can get from this historic event.

The event is in partnership with Manila Bulletin, LightTV, SpeakersBureau.ph, i-aicon, MSWEB, RipplesDaily, and Gather Meeting Planners. # # #
